HOW DOES THIS ALL WORK?

You select items you want and submit your request.  A Cohost event specialist will review your order, confirm availability with the restaurant, add any applicable service/delivery/travel charges and then email you a confirmation with a link to pay.  You submit payment.  Cohost coordinates the order with the restaurant.  The restaurant cooks the food.  A Cohost delivery manager picks up the food and delivers it to you.  

 

WHY DON'T I JUST ORDER DIRECTLY FROM THE RESTAURANT?  

We have found that some or most of our restaurants don't provide delivery on their own.  We have also generally observed that ordering through the restaurant or another service IS best for smaller individual orders.  We think Cohost is worth considering for larger groups or groups that order on an ongoing basis.    

 

CAN I ORDER FROM MORE THAN ONE RESTAURANT?

Right now we are only doing orders from one restaurant.  This is best to preserve food quality.  If you want supplemental dessert however, we can accommodate adding that to another restaurant order.

 

IS THERE AN ORDER OR GUEST COUNT MINIMUM?

Yes.  $250 is the food/beverage minimum.  

 

HOW MUCH TURN AROUND TIME DO YOU NEED?  

The deadline to order is 3pm two days before you need your order.  For Monday orders, the deadline is 3pm on Friday.  For weekend orders, the deadline is 3pm on Thursday.  

 

WILL THERE BE ANY CHARGES IN ADDITION TO FOOD PRICES LISTED?  

Yes.  If you're location is outside of a 10 mile radius from our headquarters (right outside of Deep Ellum) we charge $2.50/mile outside of that radius round trip.  We also have a delivery/service charge that is 10% of your food/beverage purchase, that starts at $50.  Additionally there may be additional charges for modifications requested.  You'll have an opportunity to approve all of this before providing payment.  

 

WHAT IF I NEED BEVERAGES AND FORKS/PLATES?  

We can provide those!  These items can be found in the Necessities category or HERE.

 

WHAT IF THE RESTAURANT I WANT ISN'T HERE?  

We either haven't posted their menu items yet, or they aren't a current partner.  You can email us HERE to ask.  We are generally not adding new partners right now.   

 

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?  

Yes with everything except Kosher or Halal meals because there are restrictions on kitchens, delivery materials and vehicles.  For other dietary restrictions, we have tried to put indicators on meals to help with selections, but if you need something more, there is a place to make notes on menu items and a place to make general notes for your order in the checkout process.
